Hi friends i think you need to apply for passport.yes,it is mandatory to have birth certificate to apply for passport in India if the person is born after1989.many people need the information like how to apply,where do apply,and what are documents we should include.so this post is for those persons which involves in following steps....
one thing we should remember here is that the date of birth is should be like the date of birth presented in s.s.c marks memorandum.so if the original date of birth is differ from the s.s.c marks memorandum you should register your date of birth at concern panchayathi ,at municipality,or at corporate office.then you will get the date of birth certificate.if the s.s.c's date of birth and the original date of birth and that is registered in concerned area then by applying you will get the certificate.and if the registered date of birth is differs from your s.s.c's date of birth you need to register again according to s.s.c's date of birth.so,how to register?is the question may raised in our mind.
1.get the date of birth affidavit from notary who is available at judicial areas like courts.
2.pay the specified money at concerned department and get the receipt.
3.you need to include the ration card,and your s.s.c marks memorandum xerox copies to your requisition form.
4.then after 30 days period you will receive the date of birth certificate.
